KONTAINER MUSIC

A Music Production and Licensing Company

The Wall Street Journal dubbed musician Salme Dahlstrom a “savvy singer” and “music licensing queen” when, like Moby before her, she managed to license every track from her 2008 album The Acid Cowgirl Audio Trade to various corporations and television programs. At the time, Dahlstrom was not only just getting noticed, she was just getting started.
“C’mon Y’All,” one of catchiest numbers on an album of catchy numbers climbed Billboard’s Dance Chart and eventually received prominent placements in major ad campaigns for CoverGirl, Suave, and Kellogg’s that ran on primetime network television for months.
Trust us, you know this song!

In tandem with her recording career, Salme maintains an active schedule of working on commercials, movie scores and TV shows, bringing the full force of her songwriting and producing talents to these wide ranging projects. Her production company Kontainer Music has a solid track record for producing catchy, cutting edge pop/electronic music and has grown into a highly succesful licensing entity.
Some of Kontainer Music's latest projects include campaigns for eos ("Lux Punk"), Fiat ("Zip The Funk"), Kitchen Aid ("Got The Yeah" feat. Moria Moore) as well as a remake of Fanta's famous “Wanta Fanta” song for their new ad campaign.
